09Region-specific rights (EU/EEA, UK, USA, Canada)
Regardless of where you live, you can exercise the rights in Section 8. In addition, depending on your jurisdiction, the following rights apply:
Residents of the EU/EEA and the UK (GDPR/UK GDPR)
We process your data on the following legal bases: performance of a contract, your consent, our legitimate interests (security, support, service improvement), and compliance with legal obligations. You have the following rights:
- access your personal data and obtain a copy;
- rectify inaccurate or incomplete data;
- erase data (the “right to be forgotten”) where provided by law;

Residents of the USA (including California, CCPA/CPRA)
We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. You have the right to know what data we collect, to request its deletion or correction, to opt out of any “sale/sharing” (should it ever apply), and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To make a request, write to hello@doradora.cc.
Residents of Canada (PIPEDA)
We process personal data based on your consent, which you may withdraw, and provide access to your data upon request within applicable law. Send requests to hello@doradora.cc.
10International data transfers
Our primary database and file storage (Supabase) are hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). However, some other processors (Section 5) — including Vercel, Resend, Google and Anthropic — may store or process data on servers outside the European Economic Area, for example in the USA. In such cases we rely on appropriate safeguards required by law (such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses) to ensure an adequate level of protection for your data.
11Data security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data: encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, role separation, and regular backups at the level of our providers. However, no method of transmission or storage on the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12Children
The service is intended for individuals aged 18 and over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe we may have collected data about a minor, write to hello@doradora.cc and we will delete it.
